During a press visit by Channels Television, Timi’s mother spoke about the tragedy, revealing her understanding of the pain felt by the victim’s family. “Assuming it was one of my daughters that they did that to, how would I feel?” she asked, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. While clearly heartbroken, she said she was leaving the matter in the hands of the government. “Anything the government wants to do, everything is in government’s hands,” she added.
