Yoruba movie actress Omowunmi Bakare, who is the wife of famous Yoruba movie actor Ibrahim Yekini, also known as Itele, has revealed how she met the actor, while also stating how she dumped her boyfriend in order to marry the actor.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Wasilacoded TV during an interview, she made it known that her husband, Itele, was poor when she met him, but that she dumped her boyfriend, who used to stay abroad, in order to marry Itele.
In her statement, she said, "I met my husband when I was in the university, and I was in a relationship with another guy at the time. I didn't really take Itele seriously when we met, and I made him a second option because I wasn't sure about him. Itele was poor when I met him, but I dumped my boyfriend, who stayed abroad for him. One day, Itele came to my school and packed all my loads, and that was when I moved to his house, and we have been happily married since then."
