Speaking during a powerful deliverance service, Pastor Olukoya emphasized the importance of spiritual discipline and repentance in breaking free from these oppressive experiences.
He urged attendees to confess and turn away from sin, emphasizing the need for genuine repentance to restore their spiritual purity. He highlighted the importance of avoiding unwholesome media, ungodly conversations, and negative influences that can corrupt the soul.
He encouraged believers to subdue their carnal desires through prayer, fasting, and consistent study of God’s Word. He also assured the congregation that victory over filthy dreams is possible through God’s power.
According to him, "To overcome filthy dreams: Repent from filthiness. Covenant to guard your eyes and tongue. Mortify the flesh. Seek complete deliverance. Bow your head as we pray."
